Team members from all disciplines other than DTL should note that the ICTSA will only pay for the International shoot at HCIT’s and the open day is not part of the event. In DTL the Ireland Team entry fees for the British Open are paid.
To qualify for a team place in 2025, ALL team members will be required to provide proof of the necessary permit for each event. When completing the team acceptance form you will be required to show a copy of your firearms permit for the country you are attending.

Best five scores (500 targets) from 1st September 2024 – Sunday 15th June 2025 to include a minimum of two scores from ICTSA Registered events with no more than two scores to count from any one ground. Plus, two best scores (200 targets) from any two of the following three selection shoots,
- Ballynease CPC, Co. Antrim – Sunday 13th April 2025
- Esker NSG, Co Galway – Sunday 4th May 2025
- Bishops Mountain, Co Kilkenny – Sunday 25th May 2025
Plus 100 targets in Thurles CPC, Co. Tipperary at the DTL compulsory shoot on Saturday 21st June 2025
Plus 100 targets Thurles CPC, Co. Tipperary at the DTL Inter-provincial shoot on Sunday 22nd June 2025.

European DTL Championships: Ball-trap club Cazaubon, France Monday 14th - 17th August 2025.
Seniors: Top five qualifiers from the combined 2025 Home Countries International Tournament Team selection points. If the first five qualifiers do not accept, each Team member will be asked in turn in order of qualification until a Team is fielded.
Ladies, Juniors (under 21 on the 01/01/2025), Veterans (55 or over on the 01/01/2025) and Super-Veterans (65 on or over on the 01/01/2025): Top three qualifiers from the combined 2025 Home Countries International Tournament Team selection. If the first three qualifiers do not accept, each Team member will be asked in turn in order of qualification until a Team is fielded.
All DTL selection and compulsory shoots will be pre-entry with individual shooters or complete squads being able to enter a particular time slot subject to availability. Where more than 4 traps are in use, the traps over which a squad will shoot will be drawn at random before the event.
World DTL Championships: Canterbury Clay Target Club, New Zealand 17th March 2026 - 19th March 2026

The ICTSA may enter up to three Teams in this event in each category but only the first Team will have the entry fees paid for by the Association.

Note: Where a tie occurs for Team selection, unless otherwise stated the next best result of those tied which is NOT being used for Team selection purposes will be compared and the final placing decided. If a tie still occurs, the 2nd best such result shall be compared and so on until the tie is resolved.
